When a good thing comes to an end.

On January 29, 2016, I moved to Gainesville, GA for CGA. I had just turned 20 years old and didn’t really knowing what I was stepping into. Only one thing was certain- that was where God wanted me to be.

The first month flew by. We dove head first into missiology, language learning, learning our identities in Christ, and preparing to go into long term missions.

More months passed and before I knew it I realized we only had 2 more weeks left. Classes started winding down and I was left wondering “where has the time gone?

My time here at CGA has been absolutely amazing. The Lord has not only grown me, but activated me in things I had already been walking in. I am now comfortable praying for strangers, facilitating a women’s retreat, setting up ESL classes, and walking up and talking to random people God has placed on my heart.

Every lesson I have learned is essential for pushing me toward a life of missions. However, I realized something vital almost immediately. Missions doesn’t always happen in 3 months or years when you are living in a different country, it happens right here and right now.

Coming up next for me I’m leading a trip for high school girls to the Philippines where I’ll be able to continue to put these lessons I’ve learned into effect and grow in leadership. But until then I will be returning home to Mckinney, TX where I will be living missionaly with the Holy Spirit.

Thank you all for supporting me!
